i tend to watch all of babylon 5 every year or so. tonight i watched 'day of the dead' season 5 episode 8.
delighted tyo see gaiman's name as writer. i've never noticed any others not by straczynski.
is anyone aware of any other episodes written by others?

Wed, April 22, 2009 - 6:23 AMI've noticed that a good number of first season episodes were not written by JMS. One example is "Believers."

Fri, April 24, 2009 - 2:23 PMone very cool thing that i learned from mister gaiman in episode 5.8, is the bizarre fact that any emily dickenson poem can be sung to the tune of 'the yellow rose of texas'. try it...it works..............cooooooool!! -

Sat, April 25, 2009 - 5:16 AMI heard this same claim (Dickinson = Yellow Rose Of Texas) while watching JOAN OF ARCADIA on DVD a couple of weeks ago. I wonder how long that tidbit's been around...
For the original Question: Most of Season 1 were written by other people with some of season 2. As the arc stories became more important he took over the writings of all the episodes.
I thought Harlan Ellison wrote a Season 5 story, too. (Since I won't buy the DVD for this season, I can't check) -

all other series 5 episodes are written by jms. i just checked series one and two. series on is about half
written by guest writers and about one third in season 2. i don't recognize any of the other writer's names.
